The wedding day
A long day. We are there for all of it.
A wedding day is not one event. It is a dozen small ones: the last pins in the dupatta, the baraat arriving late, the pheras, the joota chupai, the vidaai nobody is ready for.
Before the day
We ask for the order of ceremonies, and speak to your planner or pandit ji if you have one. We want to know when the important moments happen before they do, so we are already standing in the right place.
On the day
Candid photographs of the rituals and the people watching them, and formal groups from a list you give us. Most families want both, and neither should crowd out the other.
The couple portraits
Twenty minutes is usually enough, if it is planned. We find the time with you, around the muhurat and the light, rather than pulling you away from your own wedding.
- Haldi & mehendiThe daytime functions, full of colour and family chaos. They are often where the best candids are.
- Sangeet & receptionThe evening functions, with performances, speeches and the stage, photographed in low light without killing the mood.
- Pre-wedding shootA relaxed session for the two of you, before the wedding, somewhere that means something.
- Roka & engagementThe first function, and often the smallest. It is also the first time both families stand in front of a camera together.
