A roka or engagement is often small and quick, and families sometimes decide it does not need a photographer. Years later, it is usually the function people wish they had photographed.
Small, and close
In a living room with forty relatives, we work quietly and stay out of the way. The blessings, the sweets being fed, the ring that does not quite fit: we catch them without stopping anything.

- Haldi & mehendiThe daytime functions, full of colour and family chaos. They are often where the best candids are.
- Sangeet & receptionThe evening functions, with performances, speeches and the stage, photographed in low light without killing the mood.
